About Hammr
We create furniture that lives at the intersection of Scandinavian simplicity and Japanese precision. Each piece is an expression of the material it is shaped from.
Craft meets precision
Hammr is built on the belief that exceptional furniture emerges when the warmth of craft meets the exactness of engineering. We draw inspiration from two traditions: the Scandinavian heritage of functional beauty, and the Japanese understanding of space and materials.
We embrace the concept of 'Ma' — the intentional use of negative space — to give each piece room to breathe. In the wabi-sabi tradition, we value the imperfect and authentic: the natural variations in oak, the unique veining of marble, the honest reflection of chrome.
The result is furniture that does not merely fill a space, but defines it.
Three cores
Oak
Warmth and durability in perfect balance. Norwegian oak selected for its character — each piece carries its own story in the grain.
Marble
Timeless elegance shaped by nature itself. Every slab is unique, with veins and nuances that make each piece one of a kind.
Chrome
Modern precision and purity of form. Mirror-polished or brushed finishes that add a subtle industrial refinement.
Behind every piece
Hammr was founded on a passion for creating something lasting. With a background in both design and craft, we unite technical precision with an artistic eye for proportion and detail.
Every piece that leaves the workshop is built by hand, with care for the material and respect for the space it will inhabit. We take on only a limited number of projects — because quality demands time.
